With “go lives” on Highway 14, emergency communications coverage is available to Port Renfrew, and we have enhanced services in several areas along that corridor, notably Otter Point and Shirley. The Northwest side of Salt Spring also became a safer area for first responders and the public with Channel Ridge (just above the Vesuvius Ferry Terminal) coming online adding significant improvements to Islanders.
