Elizabeth Zook has been involved in Emergency Management for 30 years. She has worked with Emergency Management BC as a planner within the Vancouver Provincial Regional Emergency Operations Centre and the Olympics in 2010, and as an editor for the Critical Infrastructure and Disaster Response Routes workbooks.
Currently, Ms. Zook is the Emergency Coordinator for Salt Spring Island and an instructor within the Occupational Health and Safety Program at the BC Institute of Technology (BCIT). She is also a Disaster Management Team volunteer for the Canadian Red Cross. Her education includes a Bachelors in Communications from Simon Fraser University, an Emergency Management Certificate from the Justice Institute of BC and a Systems Administration Certificate from BCIT.
