Councillor Kerrie ReayDIRECTOR

    Director Kerrie Reay was appointed by the District of Sooke.

    Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Kerrie moved to BC in 1981.  She received her BA in Criminology from SFU in 1984 and has worked for the BC Corrections Branch since 1985. She is currently a Project Manager at BC Corrections Headquarters in Victoria.  Kerrie is a recipient of a Governor General of Canada Medal for Exemplary Service in Corrections.

    Kerrie is in her first term as a Councillor with the District of Sooke.  She represents the District on the Board of CREST, the Vancouver Island Regional Library Board, the Victoria Family Court and Youth Justice Committee, Sooke Protection Services and the Sooke Community & Police Consultative Society.

    Kerrie is a volunteer with the Sooke Royal Canadian Legion Housing Society as their Director of Placement.
